Small Engine MechanicNorth 40 Outfitters is looking to hire a Full-Time Small Engine Mechanic to join our Great Falls Service Shop. As a Small Engine Mechanic at North 40, your main priority will be to troubleshoot and repair small engines on a variety of equipment. You will regularly work with customers to diagnose equipment, provide solutions, and review completed work.This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.QualificationsWillingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individuallyAbility to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new thingsDrive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the roleAbility to work independently or in a group settingCommitted to supplying our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer serviceMust be able to multitask and prioritizeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focusedPrevious mechanical experience preferredAbility to be Honda, STIHL, and Husqvarna certifiedAbility to troubleshoot and repair small engine equipmentHeavy electrical knowledge for generator repairs and light electrical and body knowledge for trailer repairsUnderstanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously, 25-45 lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 65 lbs.
