Small Engine Mechanic

Deerfield Beach, FL

$25 - $28/hr

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Overtime & Saturdays as needed

Immediate Opening for an experienced Engine Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
• Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, maintenance, and equipment refurbishments
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Assemble, configure, and test equipment prior to customer delivery
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Work on mobile, industrial, construction, and mechanical equipment

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Engine Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Fleet Mechanic, or Industrial Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, diesel engines, gasoline engines, and mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic failures
• Must own basic hand tools

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEERFIELD BEACH, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
