At CGINTL, everyone is a Leader, and we hold every Leader to our core values of Integrity & Trust, Credibility, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Action Orientation, Caring, and Marketplace Ministry.

The Opportunity

CGINTL is seeking credentialed Executive & Leadership Coaches to provide executive coaching, leadership team coaching, and mentoring for emerging leaders at a large public water utility client in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. You will help leaders translate learning into lasting behavior change through structured, ethics-based coaching. This position is contingent upon contract award; we are building a qualified candidate pool now.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct intake and goal-setting meetings with each coachee and, where appropriate, the coachee's sponsor, to establish confidential coaching agreements and measurable development goals.
  • Deliver individual executive coaching in hourly increments, in person or virtually, consistent with ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics.
  • Facilitate leadership team coaching sessions focused on trust, decision-making, role clarity, conflict and shared accountability.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching hours for Emerging Leaders participants that reinforce cohort content between sessions.
  • Debrief leadership assessment results with coachees in partnership with the Certified Assessment Practitioner and integrate them into development plans.
  • Report coaching utilization and aggregate (non-attributable) progress themes to the Contract Project Manager while protecting coachee.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership coaching experience, including coaching managers and executives in organizations of 1,500 or more employees; public-sector or utility experience preferred.
  • ICF credential (ACC, PCC or MCC) or equivalent accredited coaching credential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • ICF PCC or MCC; certification in one or more leadership instruments (e.g., Hogan, EQ-i0, MBTI, 360-degree feedback tools); SHRM-SCP.

How You Will Live Our Values

  • Integrity & Trust: Protects coachee confidentiality without exception and keeps every coaching agreement.
  • Caring: Invests in each leader's growth as a person as well as a professional, and exceeds the expectations of the coachee and the sponsor.
  • Marketplace Ministry: Treats coaching as a calling to grow leaders who make their organizations and communities ready for a brighter tomorrow.

Work Requirements

  • Successful completion of the client's post-offer background investigation, including work, driving and criminal history, before working at client facilities.
  • Availability for on-site work Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and travel within Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland.
  • Adherence to client and CGINTL standards of conduct, ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to pass government background investigation.
